Welcome to the new semester! New grades, new seats, new units, new fun!
Anyway, this week in LEAD, we studied the parts of a dictionary. There are 8 parts. Can you name them all? We also went on Inspiration and made a graphic organizer on the parts of a dictionary. There was also a take home quiz on the dictionary parts for homework. Wow, lots of dictionary usage!
Later in the week we talked about the parts of a thesaurus entry and specialized vocabulary. There will be a unit test on Friday, February 5th.
