Snow!

Wow! What a snow filled week! I hope everyone enjoyed the snow and didn't have to shovel too much! Last week we worked on creating Vocabulary Alphabet books in groups. Several students volunteered to read one of their pages and we videotaped it. Our vocabulary video is on our LEAD moodle page if you'd like to check it out. On Friday we previewed our new unit on reading textbooks. This unit focuses on reading science, social studies, and math textbooks as well as note-taking and using graphic organizers. Next week we will talk about applying the before reading steps to our textbook reading.
